Expanding Access to Quality Early Childhood Education

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Trehaus is a mission-driven company working to make quality early childhood education accessible to more children, regardless of their circumstances.

Quality Early Education Is Out of Reach for Millions

The early years lay the foundation for how children learn, grow and thrive. Yet for millions of children, access to quality early childhood education is still shaped by where they live and the resources available to their families and communities.

The gap is especially significant in underserved communities around the world.

How Trehaus Gives Creates Impact

Turning mission into action.

Our mission comes to life through programmes, subsidies and partnerships designed to expand access to quality early childhood education. From our Global Impact Program and Trehaus Gives to our partnership with Bridge the Gap Project, each plays a distinct role in creating meaningful, measurable change.

GLOBAL IMPACT PROGRAM

Creating Systemic Change at Scale

Through our Global Impact Program, we partner with governments, school systems and organisations to strengthen early childhood education at scale. By combining educator training, the Canopy Approach, Canopy curriculum and Little Lab tools and resources, we help build local capacity and expand access to high-quality early learning in communities around the world.

TREHAUS GIVES

Making Our Solutions Accessible Where They Are Needed Most

Trehaus Gives is our philanthropic program, providing needs-based subsidies for Trehaus and Little Lab services so that cost does not stand in the way of access to quality early childhood education.

Through our Subsidy Determination Model (SDM), we assess each project’s needs and circumstances to determine the appropriate level of support. This allows us to subsidize services such as educator training, Little Lab access, curriculum and implementation support for schools and communities that need them most.

Our Subsidy Determination Model considers factors including geographic location, student demographics and financial need to determine the appropriate level of subsidy.

PARTNERING WITH BRIDGE THE GAP PROJECT

Connecting Urgent Needs with Resources

Trehaus partners with Bridge the Gap Project, an independent philanthropic foundation providing rapid, needs-based grants to grassroots charities and community organisations serving underserved children.

Through Trehaus’ on-the-ground relationships, we help identify urgent needs and organisations that may benefit from funding. Bridge the Gap can support needs beyond Trehaus’ own educational services, helping address critical barriers to learning and child wellbeing in underserved communities.

Through Trehaus’ on-the-ground relationships and Global Impact Program, we help identify urgent needs and organisations that may benefit from Bridge the Gap Project funding.

Measurable Impact in Action

Pakistan, 2024–2025

In 2024, Trehaus launched a public-private partnership across 50 government schools in Punjab, Pakistan, combining Trehaus Gives subsidies with our Global Impact Program.

The programme brought educator training and the Canopy Approach pedagogy, Canopy curriculum via Little Lab into classrooms and demonstrated measurable learning gains within six months.

Following these results, the programme expanded in 2025 from 50 to 170 schools, reaching communities across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
