Parenting with Emodiversity
Part 2 of a 2-part workshop series on digital wellness and parenting with emodiversity.
Description: Today’s parents face a multitude of pressures – not only are they supposed to be exceptionally successful as professionals, individuals and spouses, but they need to raise children who will be just as stellar. With the amount of exposure and information overload social media provides, it is no wonder they are so often anxious and even afraid. In this workshop, Teodora will address one of the most important traits of a healthy and happy child: emotional regulation. Drawing from her 2018 TEDx talk on the topic as well as her practical work with children and parents, she will share steps parents can take to practice the skill of emodiversity, and how it can help not only their children, but themselves too.Suitable for: Parents who want to incorporate practices informed by emotional intelligence and positive psychology.
